I’m awkward in front of a camera… will you tell me what to do?!
SO many people tell me that they feel awkward getting their photos taken - and I do, too! It's totally normal and nothing to worry about! I'll help you find positions that look and feel natural and bring out your beautiful smile even if it means laughing at myself to do it.
Do you retouch the photos?
Yes, to some extent; I can remove blemishes and flyaway hairs, smooth skin, and edit other impermanent or distracting elements. I won't alter bodies or make any other drastic or unrealistic changes to images.
Most importantly, what makes you feel comfortable and confident! We will have time for up to 3-4 outfit changes. I will send basic guidelines for choosing clothing upon booking.
What should I wear?
You will be able to choose to order directly from your gallery for professional, archival quality prints, or any other printer (without a guarantee of quality).
Where do I print images?
Of course, I can accommodate that! Send me the requirements ahead of time, and I will make sure we include a few options for you to choose from that will fit those standards.
My yearbook has specifications for my photo.
My average turnaround time is 2-3 weeks. Schedule your portrait session for at least 4 weeks before your yearbook portrait is due, and let me know this deadline when you book!
How long does it take to get my photos back?
No problem; we'll keep an eye on the weather and reschedule if necessary.

Photography has never been, for me, something I've done only as a hobby or a job. Since childhood, I have had an innate need to freeze time, in a way - to keep a record of my lived experience.
In 2012 I made it a career and I’m still as obsessed with it as I was when I got my first camera almost 30 years ago. I love to continue learning and experimenting in my craft. I bring curiosity, organization, and enthusiasm to every portrait I create, and I treasure the connections I make with my clients!
